THE INNOVATIVE APPROACHES TO MEDICAL EDUCATION IN THE COUNTRIES OF THE BRICS: PROJECT TRAINING AS A MODE OF PROFESSIONAL COMPETENCES FORMATION

Abstract


The medical education in the BRICs countries plays key role in ensuring technological sovereignty of member countries. The article explores innovative approaches to medical education in the BRICs countries. The special attention is paid to project training as a tool to form professional competencies of future specialists. The analysis was applied to such successful practices of the BRICs countries as development of telemedicine, international cooperation and organization of joint research projects. The main challenges, including personnel deficiency and inequality member countries in fitting-out education sphere are highlighted. The article emphasizes role of medical education in ensuring technological sovereignty and proposes directions for further cooperation between the BRICs member countries. The key element of work of physician today are technologies related to long-term monitoring of patient permitting to survive the longest life. On the example of project and research activities of leading Russian and foreign universities, the model of integration of science, education and practical health care is developed to ensure training of highly qualified medical personnel. The key trends in digital transformation of education are considered, including application of AI, cloud technologies and personalized approach to solution of clinical problems in education process.
