The WHO developed the model lists of essential medications (differentiated for adults and children), including both drugs for treatment of the most symptoms in palliative care support and analgesics. The article presents the results of analysis of normative legal acts regulating medication support of citizens of the Russian Federation in case of palliative medical care applying both drugs treating main manifestations of diseases and arresting pain syndrome. It is established that all main aspects of activity are normative regulated (especially issues of population support with narcotic analgesics).
