A number of contributions of military physicians at the meetings of the section are analyzed. The famous surgeons N. A. Velyaminov, S. P. Kolomnin, V. I. Razumovsky, M. S. Subbotin, N. V. Sklifosovsky and others participated in the military medicine section activities.
