The pandemic has caused massive global upheaval that could last for months, or longer. Governments are taking extreme measures to limit economic shocks and human costs. The pressure on the state authorities in this situation increases. In a rapidly evolving crisis, with information coming in from all sides, citizens turn to their governments for information and guidance. They expect to be kept safe and provided with medical care in a timely manner. The purpose of this paper is to review foreign public administration practices in response to the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic.
<kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>public administration</kwd><kwd>COVID-19 threat</kwd><kwd>pandemic risks</kwd><kwd>public policy</kwd><kwd>restrictive measures</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>государственное управление</kwd><kwd>угроза распространения COVID-19</kwd><kwd>социально-экономические риски пандемии</kwd><kwd>государственная политика</kwd><kwd>экономическая ситуация</kwd></kwd-group></article-meta></front><body></body><back><ref-list><ref id="B1"><label>1.</label><mixed-citation>Scortichini M., Schneider Dos Santos R., de’Donato F. et al.
