The theoretical foundations, organizational models and practices of network interaction between medical universities, scientific research institutions and industrial partners are considered. It is demonstrated that network cooperation contributes to integration of academic and clinical resources, support of flexibility of educational trajectories and formation of digital and interdisciplinary competencies. The special attention is paid to the Russian national experience and normative legal base of network education, as well as to prospects and challenges of its development.
