The journal contained full translations or brief summaries in English of the most significant articles from the Soviet medical press, reviews of Soviet medicine and public health practice written by American physicians, reviews of Soviet books on medicine, news of the American-Soviet Medical Society, as well as presentations by prominent Soviet medical scientists.
