According to the International Labor Organization, accidents, cardiovascular, infectious and cancer diseases are of original cause ones. Besides, sectorial characteristics of professional activity affect level of morbidity and mortality. The article reveals difficulties of medical care support of fishermen when performing professional functions in fisheries in regions of the Northern Sea Way in view of critical shortage of medical personnel and lacking of adequate medical equipment.
