Among the archival documents, were discovered petition addressed to the rector for admission to students, the original of the Yelets Gymnasium matriculation certificate, copy of metric certificate, certificate of poverty, the track record of Alexander Severinovich Semashko, the father of N. A. Semashko, certificate of exclusion from the university without right to enter higher education institutions. Owing to these rare sources, important dates and events in the life of N. A. Semashko were supplemented and specified.
